#WritersCoffeeClub Day 22. How do you organise your notes? (No notes?)
Excel, Google Docs and Elipsus.
#WordWeavers day 22: Is there a subject that’s represented poorly in media that you’d like to cover in your work?
Diversity and representation.
#ScribesAndMakers Day 22: Create a micro-story in six words.
Arsenic makes quite an unhealthy condiment.
You start at the beginning, and at the end, you repeat the cycle. #blog #writing #writingcommunity #poetry #sifaswriting

#ScribesAndMakers day 21: What everyday object would you photograph as if it were art?
Flowers.
#writersCoffeeClub Day 21: Do you celebrate any writerly anniversaries or special occasions?
I celebrate a finished project with a special treat, whether it be a meal or getting something special for myself.
#WordWeavers day 21: Where do your MCs fall, on a scale of timid to recklessly brave?
1 is timid and 10 is recklessly brave
Tink would be a 4. She won't stick her neck out, but somehow she manages to end up in the center of things. (Think Arthur Dent).
Jhana is 7, sometimes an 8. She follows her heart and won't let more timid people hold her back.

#WritersCoffeeClub Day 20, Who is your ideal reader?
Someone who likes poetry.
For my prose, someone who likes strong characters, especially women, and sci fi or fantasy.
#Wordweavers Day 20: How much romance is in your story?
There is some romance in Jhana's story, but it isn't a main focus.
There is a little in Tink's story, but not involving Tink.

#WritersCoffeeClub - Day 19 Mar. Do you need to finish a work before starting another? Why (or why not)?
Nope. I usually work on several at once in different areas. I will work on poetry, with a painting on my easel/iPad. If I'm stuck on one, I can switch to the other and work on that until I get through the block.
#ScribesAndMakers Day 19 - How did you feel when you finished your most recent project?
A sense of accomplishment. But for writing, it's usually the start of a new project.
#WordWeavers Day 19: Share something that makes your SC different from your MC.
Captain Trace is a decade older than Tink. He had experience on the airship trade routes and he deals with people with more diplomacy and finesse than Tink does.

How did your interest in technology start? And have you always been interested in finding ways to combine tech and creative writing/art?
#WordWeavers Day 14: Is selling your work for money important to you when you write?
Would I like to be paid for what I write? Sure.
Do I expect to be paid? No.
#WritersCoffeeClub March 14: Do you think readers want new experiences in structure or narrative, or do they prefer what's familiar?
Both. I think it depends on the reader, each one is different. Some take comfort in what's familiar. Others seek out new ideas.

#WritersCoffeeClub Mar. 13: Talk about an experience when you consulted an expert for a piece of writing.
For a short story about a dentist, I asked my cousin (who is an actual dentist) about how she deals with difficult patients.
#WordWeavers Day 13: Tell us about a quirk your SC has.
Captain Trace doesn't drink, which is a quirk for an airship captain in his world.
#ScribesAndMakers Day13: Our featured creator writes both novels and short stories. How do you feel about short fiction? Do you read short stories as often as novels?
Yes. I have several volumes of short story collections from various authors. I find it easier to read them when I'm limited on time.

#WordWeavers Give an example of brilliant writing. What's special about it?
Read anything by Sir Terry Pratchett. The deft turn of phrase, the wry humour.
#WritersCoffeeClub Day 11. Does your work reflect your morals? How so?
Depends on what I'm writing and my goals.
Jhana does what some might deem morally questionable things for survival. You might not agree with it, but you understand WHY she does them.
#ScribesAndMakers Day 11. Our featured creator does 3D printing. Have you ever? (Share a pic)
I haven't. I don't have a 3D printer, but if I did, I'd use it quite a bit for my art.
